FAQ
GOT A QUESTION?
How do I purchase a Bonnie & Clyde Product?
You can buy it directly off of our website using our safe and secure portal or deal directly with us via telephone or email. Don’t like all the technical stuff? Come and visit us at our studio and enjoy a cup of coffee while we finalize your purchase.
Can I change anything on a product ie. Leather colour or type?
Yes you can, contact us and we will assist you with changes or design something that will fit you style and needs.
TIPS & TRICKS
When water spills on the leather let it dry naturally. Gently blot (not rub!) excess as soon as possible, and allow the rest to air dry. Using a hairdryer will cause harm and the skin will crinkle.
Keep your leather bag out of direct sunlight as it can cause discolouration.
To banish ever-lingering smells… put an open container of baking powder carefully inside your bag, place your bag into a dustbag or pillow case and leave for 24 hours. The baking powder should absorb any unwanted odours.
Warranty
Every Bonnie & Clyde Products carries a lifetime warranty. Our warranty covers stitching, zippers, and faulty hardware. Should you have any problems arise with these, your bag will be repaired free of charge, for the reasonable life time of the product. Damage due to negligence or miss use is not covered by our warranty.
How long does it take to receive my item?
Once your order dispatched shipping usually takes 1 -2 day to major centres within South Africa and 3-5 days to outlying areas.
HOW TO CLEAN
Always handle your leather bag with clean hands. Leather bags are susceptible to absorbing grease and oil. Use a soft cloth to clean the exterior of the bag and apply in a circular motion, and wipe off with a slightly damp cloth to avoid clogging the pores of the leather.
IF YOUR LEATHER GETS TOO DRY, CONDITION IT.
Leather conditioner is like moisturizer for your leather bag. We only use a natural bees wax based product on our leather. Massage a high-quality leather conditioner into the leather and use a clean cloth to gently wipe off excess. Without it, the leather will dry out over time.
To prevent flaking and wrinkling, apply leather conditioner to a soft cloth and gently rub over the entire bag.
HOW TO STORE YOUR BAG
Stuff your unused bag with bubble wrap to restore and hold its shape. Store your leather bags in a dustbag or natural-fabric pillowcase and use a packet of silica gel so your bag doesn’t get damp. Air your leather bag once every two weeks to prevent mould growth.
